We have a winner… actually we have 2!

The latest issues of the Youth E-Letter contained a simple little contest. A line was hidden in the E-letter that read, “You read far enough to be a winner! Be the first to email me and tell me you found this note and you will win a subway gift card!” and I must admit – it did not take long and we had a winner. The first email came in from Andrea K. followed shortly thereafter by a text message from Paige N. So I decided to give them each a prize.
Just a little incentive to invite you to read our E-letter quickly and carefully. Don’t worry you can still win a Subway Gift card this month with our Crazy Caption Contest. We also have a “web site hunt” coming soon with another chance to win!

Valleyfair Day – June 28

Students 7th grade and up and invited to join us for this years LYF Valleyfair Day. This is the 29th Annual event at Valleyfair sponsored by Lutheran Youth Fellowship. Last year almost 2,500 youth and adults attended the event. We will meet at Cross View at 9:15 AM and car pool to the park. We will plan to leave the part at 9:00 and return to Cross View. Tickets are now on sale. Click on “Sign me up” to sign up. Cost of this years ticket is just $25.00 and includes “Lunch!”
SPEAKING OF LUNCH did you know that Cross View Youth Ministry is sponsoring lunch this year? What Does This Mean? It means that the Youth Board is looking for volunteers who can help with the meal. They will be serving hotdogs, chips, water and cookies to more than 500 youth who purchased lunch tickets for the day. This is a fundraiser for the Youth Stock Fund. To volunteer talk to Craig McCourt.
SPEAKING OF VOLUNTEERS if you are willing to help transport and chaperone the day at Valleyfair we will pay for your parking and get you into enjoy the park for only $10.00 (This also includes your lunch!) Click on “Sign Me Up” to sign up.
